Arsène Wenger’s Visit Marks Milestone in FIFA-AIFF Collaboration for Football Development in India
On November 20, 2023, famous football coach and FIFA Chief of Global Football Development Arsène Wenger paid a visit to the Football House in New Delhi. Wenger stressed the importance of technical skill development in football, particularly for players between the ages of five and fifteen. He emphasized that building a solid technical foundation requires making the ball a player’s buddy. Wenger’s visit is intended to inspire and encourage the growth of Indian football, as he believes the nation has unrealized potential.
Wenger urged India to fully explore and utilize its football skills in his closing remarks. The visit is regarded as a critical step toward realizing India’s football potential and strengthening India’s standing in the world.
